Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines using Azure services such as ADF, Synapse, and ADLS. This role involves collaborating with analytics and data science teams to deliver end-to-end business intelligence solutions, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring high-quality data architecture and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business analytics and data science teams to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions

Mentor junior team members and build a strong technical team

Design and implement data pipelines using

Develop and maintain datasets to support business analytics

Write scripts and programs using

Ensure data security and compliance by partnering with security/privacy teams

Optimize query performance, data models, and pipeline efficiency

Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence of data services

Stay current with emerging big data technologies and implement scalable data architectures

Manage high-ambiguity environments using both quantitative and business judgment

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

5+ years in

5+ years in distributed technologies like

Hands-on experience with Azure services: Blob Storage, SQL Database, Event Hubs, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, HDInsight

Strong programming skills in

Expertise in data modeling, metadata management, data quality, and SQL performance tuning

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments

Experience with BI reporting tools

Preferred Skills:

Experience with

Knowledge of well-architected and fault-tolerant data pipeline designs

Cost-optimized and scalable solution design

Familiarity with machine learning techniques and tools, including gen AI and LLMs

• Relevant Azure certifications (architecture, data, machine learning)
