Roles and Responsibility -

The AWS Platform engineer will be part of a bigger platform team mainly responsible for deployment of AWS Infrastructure & Platform services

Candidate will be responsible for independently working on individual task assigned to him/her with defined timelines.

Ensuring products/services owned by the candidate is successfully deployed during the Deployment window.

Familiar with working on Agile framework and it's methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, XP etc.

Candidate should have excellent communication skills & a can do attitude towards work.

Should be proactive enough to highlight any challenges or impediments to address it on priority basis during regular Standup meetings.

Assisting all team leaders to ensure projects are accurately estimated and delivered to schedule

Working closely with Team Leader on issues related to requirements and design

Mentoring colleagues and take an active role in their development.

Technical Competencies:

7-12 years of experience in platform engineering on AWS cloud.

Excellent working knowledge of Cloud formation, VPC, transit Gateway, Route53 and Terraform for infrastructure as code is must .

In depth understanding of Network, storage, IaaS & PaaS services in AWS

Internals of distributed Operating System (Unix/Linux).

Proficient with CI/CD, configuration & release management tools like AWS Codebuild, Codedeploy, CodePipeline.

Familiarity with serverless AWS services (e.g. Lambda Function, Step Functions, DynamoDB, EventBridge, API Gateway, AWS Cognito, Cloudformation, AWS CDK, Cloudtrail etc.)

Excellent knowledge on AWS Organization, SCP, Landing Zone framework

Good to have RESTful API experience (both in Integration and development)

Experience in using Python, Shell or other scripting languages for the development activities on Cloud infrastructure components.

Experience with networking constructs such as routing protocols or network overlay implementations.

Self motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment.

BE in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience plus Real passion to technology.

Resource with AWS Solution Architect Associate/Professional Certification will be preferred.
