Job Description

As Assistant Vice President Fraud Customer Care at Barclays, you will lead a high-performing team to ensure outstanding customer outcomes while managing day-to-day operations, risk, and performance standards. Your role will involve using insights, collaboration, and strong decision-making to drive business growth, operational excellence, and a culture of accountability and customer focus. Desirable skill sets for this role include relevant banking experience, strong technical and analytical skills, experience in process enhancement/transformation/continuous improvement, project and change management, and complaint management. You will also be assessed on essential skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills. This role is based out of Chennai. In this role, your purpose will be to lead and develop a highly engaged team to achieve consistently excellent customer outcomes through an omni channel experience. You will be accountable for providing excellent customer service, maintaining performance management standards, running day-to-day business operations effectively, conducting market research, fostering a resolution culture, and creating an empowering environment for colleagues. As an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives, coach employees, and demonstrate leadership behaviors.
