Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Provide
independent assurance
on adherence to Laws, Rules & Regulations (LRR) across banking functions.
Design and execute
control testing frameworks
to assess effectiveness of
internal controls
.
Identify, evaluate, and escalate risks aligned with the banks risk & control framework.
Report testing results to senior stakeholders and drive corrective action.
Collaborate with business units and assurance teams to ensure robust governance.
Leverage data analytics to perform end-to-end testing and assurance reviews.
Influence stakeholders on compliance outcomes and support implementation of assurance strategy.

Preferred candidate profile

7+ years

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Graduate/ Post Graduate / Chartered Accountant / MBA / ACCA (or equivalent).
Strong experience in
Internal Audit, Control Testing, Assurance, and Compliance.
Hands-on knowledge of
Regulatory Processes, and Operational Risk
.
Experience in
control design effectiveness assurance & operating effectiveness testing
.
Strong stakeholder management and proven ability to influence senior leadership.

Good to have Skills:

Exposure to
US/UK regulatory frameworks
and financial services compliance requirements.
Knowledge of
Market Risk, Operational Risk, and Regulatory Risk
frameworks.
Professional certifications in
Risk, Audit, or Compliance
(e.g., CIA, CRISC, CISA, FRM, Prince2, etc).
