Av Support Engineer

Job Summary

The AV Support Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining audio-visual systems across client sites or internal locations. The role involves providing technical support for AV equipment, ensuring seamless operation during meetings, events, and daily office use, and coordinating with vendors or internal teams for efficient issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Setup

• Install, configure, and test AV equipment such as displays, projectors, audio systems, microphones, speakers, cameras, and control systems.
  
• Set up video conferencing systems (Zoom Rooms, Teams Rooms, Webex, etc.).
  
• Perform cable management, rack setup, and equipment mounting.
  

Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide on-site and remote support for AV issues during meetings and events.
  
• Diagnose and resolve problems related to audio, video, control systems, and networking in AV environments.
  
• Monitor system performance and perform regular preventive maintenance.
  

Operations & Coordination

• Coordinate with IT, facilities, and external vendors for system upgrades or repairs.
  
• Maintain documentation of device configurations, SOPs, and AV inventory.
  
• Provide training to end-users on AV equipment usage.
  

Maintenance

• Ensure proper calibration, firmware updates, and health checks of AV systems.
  
• Conduct routine inspections and promptly escalate major issues.
