Job Title: Service Manager

Location: Kolkata

Reporting to: Dealer Principal / General Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to lead the service operations of our Honda two-wheeler dealership in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing workshop efficiency, supervising service advisors and technicians, and driving service revenue targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with Honda standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workshop Management: Oversee daily operations of the service workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity across all bays.
  • Team Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff.
  • Customer Relations: Ensure prompt and professional handling of customer complaints and queries, aiming for high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index).
  • Business Targets: Achieve monthly revenue, profitability, and service throughput targets as set by the dealership and Honda.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure 100% adherence to Honda’s service processes, SOPs, and quality guidelines.
  • Parts & Inventory Coordination: Work with the parts department to ensure availability and proper use of genuine parts.
  • Warranty & Claims: Monitor and manage warranty claims and ensure timely submission and approval from Honda.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs of workshop staff and coordinate with Honda for technical and soft skills training.
  • Reports & MIS: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to service performance, CSI scores, technician efficiency, and productivity.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in an automotive two-wheeler service role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position (Honda experience preferred).
  • Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in DMS (Dealer Management Systems) and MS Office
  • Knowledge of Honda's service systems and policies is a plus
