Responsibilities

  • Design and implement

    automation test scripts

    for web applications.
  • Develop and maintain

    test cases, test plans, and test data

    .
  • Test

    SaaS workflows

    , including authentication, DB operations, and integrations.
  • Perform

    functional, regression, performance, and API testing

    .
  • Collaborate with developers to identify, log, and resolve bugs.
  • Validate database changes and ensure

    schema integrity during releases

  • Integrate automation testing into

    CI/CD pipelines

  • Provide regular reports on

    test coverage, quality metrics, and defect analysis

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience

    in automation testing for SaaS or web-based platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of

    automation testing tools

    (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
  • Experience with

    API testing

    (Postman, Newman, or similar tools).
  • Familiarity with

    databases (SQL/NoSQL)

    for data validation.
  • Solid understanding of

    SaaS platforms, architecture, and cloud-based applications

    .
  • Proficiency in

    JavaScript/Python

    or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Hands-on experience with

    version control (Git)

    .
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work

    onsite and collaborate effectively

    with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing

    Supabase/Firebase or BaaS-based applications

  • Familiarity with

    CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)

  • Exposure to

    AI-driven applications

    and their testing challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of

    performance testing and load testing tools
