Automation Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Tester with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through modern automated testing frameworks, including Selenium and Playwright, and continuous integration pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as

  Selenium

  ,

  Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)

  ,

  TestNG

  , or

  JUnit

  .
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and manual QA testers to understand product requirements and develop robust automation strategies.
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks, including Playwright implementations using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Perform regression testing and validate new features in active development sprints.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools like

  JIRA

  or

  Bugzilla

  .
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously assess testing processes and suggest improvements for better test coverage and efficiency.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in automation testing with tools such as

  Selenium WebDriver

  ,

  Playwright

  ,

  TestNG

  , or

  Cucumber

  .
• Proficient in at least one of the following languages:

  Java

  ,

  Python

  , or

  JavaScript

  (with emphasis on JavaScript for Playwright).
• Experience with version control systems like

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools such as

  GitLab CI

• Solid understanding of RESTful API testing using tools like

  REST-assured

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with

• Exposure to

  Azure

• Familiarity with

  performance testing tools

  JMeter

• ISTQB certification

  or equivalent is a plus.
