Automation Test Engineer

What’s important to us:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with a solid background in software testing and at least 4 years of hands-on automation experience. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in test automation frameworks, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive, positive attitude. Leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Execute automated and manual tests to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Perform root cause analysis on failed tests and report defects with detailed logs and evidence.
• Continuously enhance automation coverage and improve test efficiency.
• Contribute to test strategy, planning, and estimation activities.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices for automation and testing processes.

Must Have Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with any of the popular automation tools such as:
  • Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, Postman, RestAssured, Robot Framework, or Katalon Studio.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub, and Test Management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Azure Test Plans).
• Good exposure to API testing and automation.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, or Docker-based environments) is desirable.

Qualification Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
