Automation Manager (AEC Industry)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the

  automation strategy and implementation

  across AEC projects, ensuring alignment with business and project goals.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain automation tools/scripts for

  Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, and other BIM platforms

  .
• Create and manage custom solutions using

  C#, Python, and Revit API

  to improve productivity and model accuracy.
• Establish standardized

  automation workflows

  for multidisciplinary model coordination and clash detection.
• Integrate automation solutions with

  Power BI dashboards

  and other data visualization/reporting platforms.
• Collaborate with project teams, BIM managers, and discipline leads to identify automation opportunities.
• Evaluate and implement

  emerging industry technologies

  (AI/ML, cloud-based collaboration, design automation, digital twins, etc.).
• Manage a team of automation specialists and provide

  technical leadership, training, and mentorship

  .
• Ensure automation workflows comply with

  industry standards (ISO19650, company BIM protocols, etc.)

  .
• Partner with IT and software vendors to maintain an updated automation ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

  .

• 8–12 years of overall AEC/BIM experience

  , with at least

  5 years of professional coding experience

  .
• Strong expertise in:

• Dynamo scripting

  for Revit workflows

• Python & C# programming

• Revit API development

• BIM platforms

  (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360)
• Experience with

  data analytics and visualization tools

  such as Power BI.
• Proven record of

  multidisciplinary BIM coordination

  and process automation.
• Knowledge of

  version control (GitHub, GitLab)

  and structured development practices.
• Familiarity with

  cloud collaboration tools

  (Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM Collaborate Pro, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical depth and business impact.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with AI/ML in design automation or digital twins.
• Knowledge of EvolveLAB Glyph, Speckle, Rhino/Grasshopper, or Forge APIs.
• Experience in database management (SQL, MongoDB) for BIM data.
• Familiarity with semiconductor, data center, or infrastructure projects.
