Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python).
• Convert manual test scenarios into end-to-end automation suites for UI and API validation.
• Execute automation pipelines, debug failures, and contribute actively to defect analysis.
• Collaborate with developers and QA leads to define test scope, coverage, and execution strategy.
• Contribute to CI/CD-based test execution workflows and reporting.
• Document frameworks, reusable utilities, and automation standards.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Hands-on exposure to Playwright (academic, project, or internship).
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, DOM, selectors, and web testing.
• Familiarity with Git, agile workflows, and debugging basics.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership.
  

Preferred Skills (Good To Have)

• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer, or other automation frameworks.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Knowledge of reporting tools (Allure, Mochawesome, etc.).
• Comfort with Jira, TestRail, or any test management tool.
• Understanding of assertion libraries (Jest, Chai, Expect).
