The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and execution, independently managing site coordination for Commercial Kitchen projects. You will be responsible for translating kitchen layouts into precise MEP service drawings and ensuring zero-error execution on site through rigorous coordination with architects, contractors, and clients.

ROLE SUMMARY: We are seeking a technically proficient and proactive Site Coordinator/AutoCAD Engineer with strong command over MEP services. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design and execution, independently managing site coordination for Commercial Kitchen projects. You will be responsible for translating kitchen layouts into precise MEP service drawings and ensuring zero-error execution on site through rigorous coordination with architects, contractors, and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. MEP Design & Technical Drafting:

Prepare detailed AutoCAD service drawings (Electrical, Plumbing, Gas, and HVAC layouts) specifically for commercial kitchen equipment.

Generate precise shop drawings, fabrication details, and elevation drawings for client approval.

Conduct clash detection by superimposing kitchen layouts over site MEP drawings to identify and resolve conflicts before execution.

2. Independent Site Coordination:

Lead site surveys to capture accurate "As-Built" measurements and identify site constraints (beams, columns, sunken slabs).

Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) on-site for technical queries, coordinating directly with Civil, MEP, and Interior agencies to ensure site readiness.

Independently trouble-shoot site issues and propose immediate technical solutions to avoid project delays.

3. Execution & Compliance:

Verify site readiness checklists (checking power loads, drain points, gas line pressure) prior to equipment dispatch.

Supervise the offloading, positioning, and installation of heavy commercial kitchen equipment.

Ensure all installations comply with project specifications, safety standards, and the approved BOQ.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain a daily log of site progress and share "Snag Lists" with the internal team and external contractors.

Manage drawing approvals, revisions, and handover documentation independently.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.

Experience:

2 to 6 years of dedicated experience in Commercial Kitchen Equipment, HVAC, or MEP Project execution.

Must have handled projects independently (from site survey to handover) in previous roles.

Technical Skills:

AutoCAD 2D (mandatory)

Strong ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Plumbing risers, and HVAC layouts.

Knowledge of gas pipeline standards (IGL/MGL) is a strong advantage.

Soft Skills:

Excellent site coordination and negotiation skills.

Ability to command respect from site contractors and communicate effectively with high-profile clients.

*Travel: Willingness to travel daily to various sites across Mumbai and extended suburbs.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Male candidates preferred (due to the nature of site travel and construction environment).

Candidates currently working in the Commercial Kitchen/Horeca sector will be given first preference.for commercial
