Job Description

Job Summary:As an Electrical Draftsman, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality electrical drawings and looping diagrams using AutoCAD, with a focus on smart device integration and home automation systems. You'll work closely with engineers and automation specialists to ensure optimal wiring layouts, device connectivity, and system efficiency. Key Responsibilities:Develop electrical looping diagrams for lighting, power sockets, smart switches, sensors, relays, and automation panels. Create and modify AutoCAD electrical layouts based on project requirements and control logic. Assist in the design of low-voltage systems (lighting control, curtain control, motion sensors, HVAC interface). Prepare detailed single-line diagrams (SLDs), DB schedules, and circuit routing plans. Collaborate with system designers to map smart device wiring and control paths. Support engineers during site execution with updated drawings and as-built documentation. Maintain drawing files and documentation in organized project folders. Ensure compliance with electrical standards and best practices for home automation. Required Qualifications:Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field. 2–3 years of experience in electrical drafting using AutoCAD, preferably in residential or automation projects. Strong knowledge of looping diagrams, load schedules, and wiring layouts. Basic understanding of smart devices, relays, and control systems. Ability to read circuit diagrams, schematic layouts, and manufacturer data sheets.
