Job Description

Job Purpose: To create and develop 2D drawings, 3D models, and detailed engineering designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Prepare 2D drafting and 3D modeling of mechanical, electrical components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Develop detailed assembly drawings, part drawings, and BOM (Bill of Materials). Modify and revise existing designs as per project requirements. Maintain drawing files, records, and documentation systematically. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines. Assist in design reviews, prototyping, and product development activities. Key Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks. Strong understanding of mechanical design, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and drafting standards. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and tolerances. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Production Minimum 5-6 years of experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks design.
