Quantity Surveyor / Planning & Billing Engineer

Position Title: Quantity Surveyor / Planning & Billing Engineer. Experience: 5 to 10 years. Location: Sheopur, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. Industry:  Infrastructure, Roads, Highways, Railway, Water Projects. Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering. Notice Period: Immediate to 1 month Skills Required: Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, Primavera P6 / MS Project Strong understanding of IS codes, contract clauses, and technical drawings Knowledge of client and subcontractor billing, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis Experience with public sector clients (like PWD, NHAI, PHED) preferred Capable of preparing MIS reports, DPRs, MPRs, and project dashboards Key Responsibilities: Quantity Surveying Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from GFC drawings and technical specifications. Conduct quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimation for civil and structural works. Track and reconcile material consumption and site quantities. Review and certify subcontractor bills and maintain proper records. Assist in preparation of variation claims, extra item justifications, and contractual correspondence. Planning Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. Develop and update baseline schedules, resource plans, and look-ahead schedules. Track progress vs plan and generate S-curves, bar charts, and progress dashboards. Conduct delay analysis, identify bottlenecks, and provide catch-up strategies. Coordinate with procurement, execution, and QS teams for smooth planning workflow. Billing: Prepare and certify client bills as per executed quantities and contract provisions. Prepare and maintain joint measurement records (JMR) with clients and contractors. Ensure billing timelines and accuracy in line with contract milestones. Maintain billing registers, reconciliation statements, and supporting documentation. Must Experience In: Water projects Irrigation Works. Government infrastructure Projects
