Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Australian Tax Accountant role based in Chandigarh. The responsibilities include preparing and reviewing tax returns in compliance with Australian tax laws, performing tax planning and advisory services, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The role requires staying updated with changes in tax regulations, regularly communicating with clients to address their tax-related queries, and supporting audits and reporting processes. Collaboration with colleagues and clients to ensure timely deliverables is a key part of this position.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations, and competency in tax planning and advisory services
• Proficiency in the preparation and review of tax returns, as well as experience with audit and compliance requirements
• Proficient in accounting software and tools, along with strong analytical skills for financial data interpretation
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
• Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is an advantage
• Experience in handling Australian tax matters is preferred
