Reports To: AR Manager / Finance Head Job Type: Full-time (5:30PM to 2:30AM/6PM to 3AM) (Mon-Fri) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Executive with experience in the insurance sector . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing outstanding receivables, following up with clients and insurance companies through phone calls and emails, and ensuring timely collection of premiums and claim-related payments. Strong communication and client coordination skills are essential. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances related to insurance premium collections and claim reimbursements. Make regular outbound calls to insurance companies, brokers, and policyholders to follow up on outstanding invoices and payments. Resolve payment discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams to clarify billing issues. Maintain accurate records of communication, commitments, and payment status in the system. Reconcile customer accounts and update ledgers with received payments. Generate aging reports and escalate delinquent accounts as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, IRDAI guidelines, and audit requirements. Support month-end closing processes related to revenue and receivables. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance partners to ensure prompt resolution of queries. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector. Proven experience in calling/follow-ups for collections or coordination with clients/insurance partners . Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar). Strong analytical, negotiation, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with insurance companies (life, health, or general insurance). About the Role We are looking for an experienced Australian Taxation Accountant with solid hands-on exposure to Australian accounting standards, individual & business tax returns, BAS, GST, payroll, and compliance. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with Australian clients, accounting firms, or shared service centers. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and lodge Individual Tax Returns (ITRs), Company, Trust & Partnership returns for Australian clients. • Complete BAS, IAS, GST, PAYG, FBT calculations and submissions. • Prepare financial statements, general ledgers, and year-end accounts as per Australian accounting standards. • Work on STP, Superannuation, Payroll processing & employee reconciliations. • Review client documents, bank statements, and financial data to ensure accuracy. • Assist in ATO correspondence, notices, and compliance-related tasks. • Support senior accountants in tax planning, advisory tasks, and audits. • Maintain strong communication with Australian clients and meet deadlines. • Ensure compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations. Capital gains tax for sale of investments Skills & Requirements • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Australian taxation & accounting. • Hands-on experience with Australian tax laws, ATO processes & compliance. • Strong knowledge of BAS, GST, PAYG, ABN, TFN, STP, Superannuation. • Proficiency in Australian accounting software such as: • Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiTax, TaxLab, or similar tools. • Excellent understanding of financial statements, bookkeeping & reconciliations. • Strong communication skills and ability to handle client queries independently.
