Job Description

You will be responsible for conducting thorough audits of all company expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies. This includes reviewing fixed costs such as salaries, rent, and insurance to verify their accuracy and appropriateness. You will also be assessing variable costs, including purchases of raw materials and operational expenses, ensuring that they are processed correctly and factually accurate. In addition, you will audit all SAP entries related to relevant departments to ensure proper recording and adherence to internal controls. Identifying cost-effective solutions and recommending them to the relevant departments to enhance financial efficiency will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will prepare detailed periodic audit reports for all departments, summarizing findings and providing actionable insights. Assisting with the end-of-month financial closure process and reconciling the General Ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness will also be a key duty. You will prepare comprehensive reports and record cost information to effectively manage and control expenditures. Auditing manufacturing costs to ensure they are accurately recorded and justified, reviewing and verifying costs associated with raw materials and other supplies to ensure proper financial management, and suggesting policy changes that could improve overall company operations and financial performance will also be part of your role. Providing expert guidance during the audit process to ensure compliance and address any issues that arise, reviewing and auditing tour bills and local conveyance expenses to ensure they are legitimate and within policy guidelines, preparing and presenting monthly reports related to tour bills and local conveyance expenses, updating tour claims in the system ledger to maintain accurate and up-to-date records, and maintaining detailed records of tour claims in Excel to ensure proper tracking and reporting are also included in your responsibilities. Additionally, you will audit monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting standards, audit the monthly filing of GST returns and produce reports for management to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance, and conduct quarterly audits of the trial balance and produce detailed reports for management review. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. - Proven experience in purchase auditing to identify discrepancies and improve processes. - Experience with ERP software, preferably SAP Business One, for purchase order processing and auditing. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
