Audit Associate

You will be joining a leading global investment management firm where you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team across multiple locations worldwide. As an Audit Associate, your main responsibility will be to plan, perform, report, and follow up on specific audit assignments under the guidance of senior management. Your role will involve working closely with the Asia Pacific Team to carry out regional audit activities. Key Responsibilities: - Assist Audit Management in planning the scope of audits. - Prepare audit programs and execute comprehensive audits in various operational and financial areas of the company. - Participate in audit planning, progress, and wrap-up meetings. - Recommend corrective actions or business resolutions and follow up on implementation. - Review transactions, documents, records, reports, and accounting methodologies to assess accuracy and adequacy of information. - Assist in preparing annual risk assessments and audit plans. - Keep updated on industry, regulatory, and corporate matters that may affect audit scope. - Work collaboratively with team members and Audit Management. - Possess experience in auditing financial and operational controls within a wide range of business processes. - Manage multiple projects and deliver against deadlines. Qualifications Required: - University degree. - Up to 3 years of audit experience in the buy side of the global financial services industry. - Experience in areas such as Research, Portfolio Management, Buy-Side trading, Investment Management Operations, and Regulatory Compliance. - Professional Certification (CIA, CPA, CFA, etc.) or Advanced Degree preferred. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills.
