Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Audit & Accounts Associate to join our audit and finance team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, preparing reconciliations, and analyzing payroll data. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and a good grasp of financial processes are essential. Key Responsibilities: Conduct internal audits of financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls. Perform detailed bank reconciliations and identify/resolve any mismatches. Handle vendor account reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies. Assist in verifying payroll data and preparing accurate payroll tables for audit review. Use MS Excel extensively for audit schedules, financial analysis, and reconciliation reports. Support statutory and internal audit processes by preparing required documentation. Collaborate with finance and HR teams to gather necessary records and explanations. Ensure timely escalation of audit findings and assist in implementing corrective actions. Key Skills Required: Strong expertise in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, formulas) Knowledge of audit procedures, documentation, and compliance Proven experience in bank and vendor reconciliations Understanding of payroll structure and related reconciliations Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data
