Role Description

This full-time on-site role for an Assistant Purchase Manager is based in Ahmedabad. The Assistant Purchase Manager will oversee daily procurement activities which include sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing inventory levels. Responsibilities also involve maintaining records, ensuring timely delivery of materials, coordinating with various departments, and adhering to budget constraints while ensuring the quality of supplies. The Assistant Purchase Manager will report directly to the Purchase Manager and support various purchasing operations and strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant experience in the plastic or manufacturing industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
