Asst. Manager/Manager - Finance & Accounts

This role supports the finance team by managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and assisting in financial planning and reporting.

Role & responsibilities

• Perform GST reconciliation and assist in the timely filing of related returns.
• Prepare and maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) reports, tracking outstanding invoices and payment ageing.
• Support internal and statutory audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with auditors.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments for data collection and validation, supporting financial reporting processes.
• Monitor cash flows and working capital components to assist management in financial decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to process improvements within finance operations to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Preferred candidate profile

• MBA in Finance or CA Intermediate qualification.
• Proven experience in finance or accounting roles
• Strong understanding of GST laws, accounting principles, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software such as ERP systems, accounting packages, and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and handle confidential information with integrity.
• Accounting software: Tally, SAP,
• GST reconciliation and filing tools, and software compliance modules
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modelling, and macros
• Financial reporting and analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI software will be an added advantage
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance software and tax filing platforms
