Job Description


We are one of India’s largest private technology suppliers to the print and publishing industry. We are looking for an experienced Asst. Manager Dispatch & Logistics with experience handling purchasing, warehousing and inbound & outbound logistics PAN INDIA.


Daily Role & Responsibilities

1. Follow each process and steps as per the divisional SOPs and ensure no violation of SOP.

2. Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods as per norms to allocated distribution point.

3. Ensure accurate stocking at the central warehouse and branch level as per stocking policy.

4. Ensure customers and branch managers receive delivery update notification emails.

5. Make weekly visits to the warehouse and ensure safe operations, accurate stocks reporting.

6. Highlight any type of noncompliance on timely manner to HOD

7. Passing of Stock journal in books and preparation of E-Way bill.

8. Preparing Monthly/ weekly Dispatch reports, Stock Reports and Purchase Reports.

9. Maintaining relationships with Transporters and growing the transporter network.

10. Preparing the Quotation / PO and communicate with vendors.


Ad Hoc Duties and Responsibilities:

2. Work on project related to process improvement, productivity improvement and KPI improvement.

3. Ensure that you follow the company’s communication protocols on all internal and external communications.

4. Leverage the company’s business tools to ensure that work is tracked, measured, and recorded correctly.

5. Analyse transporter data and identify key insights and opportunity areas from the improvements.

FIFO compliant.


Experience Needed:

1. 5+ years’ Experience in the same field of dispatch and logistics.

MBA Highly Preferred

3. Experience managing external stakeholders like transporters and vendors.

4. Experience communicating to customers and maintaining service standards.


Technical Skills Needed:

1. MS Office Suite (Word, PPT, XLS)

Tally

3. ASANA (or similar) project management tool
