Job Summary

Job Summary: The OSS Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Operational Support Systems (OSS) solutions that enhance our clients' network operations and service management. Key Responsibilities: ¿ Design and Development: Create high level and detailed designs for OSS solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. ¿ Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements for OSS projects. ¿ Integration: Design integration solutions between OSS and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality. ¿ Documentation: Develop comprehensive design documentation, including technical specifications, system architecture diagrams, and user manuals. ¿ Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of OSS solutions to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements. ¿ Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams, including network engineers, software developers, and project managers, to deliver successful OSS projects. ¿ Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of OSS design processes and methodologies. Preferred Skills: ¿ Proven experience as an OSS Designer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of OSS concepts and technologies. ¿ Proficiency in designing and implementing OSS solutions, including service assurance, service fulfillment, and network management systems.Experience with integration technologies, APIs, and data flow design. ¿ Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions. ¿ Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in OSS design and implementation. ¿ Experience with specific OSS tools and platforms ¿ Familiarity with network technologies and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SNMP, MPLS). ¿ Certification in relevant OSS technologies or methodologies. ¿ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. ¿ BT / Openreach OSS/BSS domain knowledge preferred
