We foster a collaborative and challenging environment that empowers our employees to grow professionally and build rewarding careers.We are seeking an Associate Senior Mechanical Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our growing Global Facilities – Commercial Arch team in Mumbai office to lead and support HVAC, Plumbing and Piping design activities on projects mainly in North America region. The successful candidate will report to Department Manager. The ideal candidate will be proficient in HVAC & Plumbing Design Engineering and other relevant design software. You will play a key role in project execution, working closely with designers to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards from the conceptual phase through to commissioning.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for design and specification of mechanical systems like HVAC, plumbing, hydronic systems (hot water and chilled water) for commercial/industrial facilities to provide for a useful and safe workplace.
- Capture client requirements and, if needed, advise them regarding mechanical systems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with safety codes.
- Review contractor shop drawings, field inspections, and testing and commissioning reports.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, client(s) and other stake holder(s) to develop a clash free system design.
- Responsible for managing the assigned scope within agreed schedule and budget.
- Willing to advance in career by taking increased responsibilities on projects and Work efficiently in a work-share environment, coordinating with the lead office and team members across different project stages.
- Apply technical knowledge to maintain a consistently high standard of quality and technical content in all deliverables.
- Proactively communicate with counterparts to elevate issues and ensure timely resolutions.
- Trane TRACE or any other Heat Load calculation program.
- Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office Tools – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Outlook, OneNote
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive learner, willing to enhance software skills and adapt to new tools as per project requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's in mechanical engineering from a recognized institution.
- 5-10 years of proven experience MEP Design facilities preferably Commercial & Industrial.
- Hands-on experience on projects in North America region and knowledge of Revit will be a plus.
- Working knowledge of international codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, International Mechanical code, International Building code, International Plumbing Code preferably used in Commercial projects.
- A committed team player able to work on own initiative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
