Associate Security Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Analyst Intern with an interest in red teaming, web application and API penetration testing, scripting, security automation, and exploitation techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities across various platforms, including mobile applications and cloud environments, while actively contributing to improving security posture and automation processes.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and respond to alerts generated by CloudSEK products and solutions
• Identify and understand potential scams, phishing attempts, and other fraudulent activities based on alerts generated by security systems and the latest trends from the market
• Identify and document vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and security weaknesses in applications, systems, and networks
• Analytical skills in developing a deep understanding of clients' specific business environments, use cases, and operational requirements to tailor cybersecurity solutions accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal security and research teams to improve the product and service lineup.
• Stay current with the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, and industry trends.
• Timely update clients on the status of their security posture, ongoing projects, and emerging threats.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge base articles and SOP guidelines.
• Collaborate with the product management team to gather customer feedback and insights, and provide recommendations for product enhancements and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and exposure to the cyber threat landscape is a strong advantages.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity products, including SIEM, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, or security analytics, is highly desirable.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., C EH) are a plus.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues with a logical and systematic approach.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and vulnerability management tools.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer success.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including 24/7 coverage, to ensure seamless operation and support for our global customer base.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role, preferably in technical or customer support.
