Role Overview
As a SAP Security associate, you will be responsible for handling SAP Authorization and user administration s, ensuring the SAP application are complaint, secured and monitored. With limited guidance you should be handling authorization requirements, and manage the role creation, updates and maintenance. Assist in user administration related queries, extracting security reports and troubleshooting authorization issues.
What will you do in this role:

Perform day-to-day SAP user administration tasks- user creation, role assignment, password resets, user locking/unlocking, and mass user maintenance.

Troubleshoot authorization issues using SU53, ST01/STAUTHTRACE, and reviewing authorization trace logs.

Design and maintain single, composite, and derived roles compliance to Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles.

Perform Risk Analysis on role and user level.

Create and maintain security documentation, role matrices, and test scripts.

Extract Security reports and assist the audit queries.

Support day to day security requests.
What should you have :
-
1-3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security GRC.

Working knowledge of SAP user administration and role maintenance.
-
Understanding of SAP authorization concepts - Authorization Objects, Fields, Profiles (composite/single), Derived roles, and Parent-Child role concepts.

Understanding with organizational level and parent-derived role concepts for mass maintenance (Company Code, Plant, Sales Org, Purchasing Org, etc.)

Experience in user creation, maintenance, provisioning/de-provisioning of roles

Basic understanding of SAP tables related to security (USR*, AGR*, UST*) and SUIM reports.

Basis understanding of SAP SOD and SOX compliance.
Nice to Haves

Exposure to IT Service Management Tools (ServiceNow/Remedy), Demand Management Tools (Jira) and collaboration tools (Confluence, MS Teams) is preferred.

Good Communication skills and collaboration with Functional, Technical and business users.

Knowledge on how various ERP modules connected within SAP

Adaptable mindset in enhancing skills on new areas (SAP Cloud areas)
