Role & responsibilities

Stakeholder Relationship Management & Government Relations

• Develop and nurture strong, long-term professional relationships with key district officials and department heads from agencies focused on Industry, Employment, Labor, Skilling, and Education.
• Actively seek out and formalize collaborations with government bodies, non-profits, and educational institutions for joint placement drives and job fairs.
• Collaborate with district officials to co-host career fairs, workshops, and seminars, involving local government leaders to maximize visibility and impact.
• Launch joint awareness campaigns with district bodies to showcase student success stories and the institution's contribution to local economic growth.

Corporate Partnerships & Program Integration

• Develop direct professional relationships with larger corporate employers, industry bodies, and regional large-scale enterprises across the territory.
• Collaborate closely with HR departments of potential employers to ensure that market needs and requirements are incorporated the programs' skilling and training process, ensuring graduates are truly job-ready.

Accountability

The incumbent will be held accountable for:

• Establishing and maintaining sound, respectful, and long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders in their region (Government, Political Entities, and Employers).
• Meeting and exceeding placement goals on a continuous basis.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

• Experience:

  5-9 years of relevant work experience in Corporate Relations, Business Development, Government Liaison, or Placement Management.

• Preferred:

  Prior experience as a Mahatma Gandhi National Fellow (MGNF) or a similar structured fellowship focused on district-level administration/skilling/policy implementation.
