Job Description

Signal & Telecommunication (S&T) Department

Project Planning & Scheduling

Develop detailed work plans for S&T projects including signaling systems, telecom installations, and control systems.
Coordinate with design and execution teams to align timelines and resources.

Billing & Estimation

Prepare and verify contractor bills based on work progress and measurements.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and technical specifications.
Maintain records of quantities and cost estimates for signaling and telecom works.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain project documentation including drawings, estimates, and progress reports.
Generate periodic billing statements and submit to accounts for processing.
Support audits and financial reviews with accurate documentation.

Coordination & Compliance

Liaise with field engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth execution.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality norms in S&T installations.
Assist in procurement planning and material reconciliation.
Desired Qualifications

Education

: Degree or Diploma in Electronics & Communication or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

: 4-8 years in railway signaling projects, preferably with exposure to billing procedures.
Skills Required
Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera for scheduling.
Strong understanding of railway S&T systems and standards.
Knowledge of Indian Railways billing norms and contract management.
Attention to detail and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
