Reviewing Proposals / ITB's, preparing contract deviations and managing negotiations for new opportunities (which includes reviewing Contract terms and conditions, scope of work, project procedures) for EPC projects out of India
Advising, reviewing and negotiating documents such as MOU, Consortium, Joint Venture Agreements.
Advising on contract conditions for Projects in varying jurisdictions, working with, and understanding foreign governing/applicable law.
Drafting correspondence and legal documents, clauses, notices, agreements
Advising on and review of Parent Company Guarantees and project finance documentation.
Supporting preparation, negotiations and implementation of Subcontracts and Purchase Orders.
Assisting/advising in preparation of Change Orders, Extensions of Time and Claims raised by Clients, Vendors, Subcontractors and LTHE.
Reviewing and negotiating Non-Disclosure Agreements.
Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal provisions, legal principles, case laws
Assisting in handling arbitrations and litigations,
Liaising with external lawyers and business team.
To provide solutions within legal framework for smooth achievement of business objectives
Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the organization
Preparing legal templates for standard agreements
Timely follow-up with vendors/customers, Consultants and providing the appropriate information as and when needed.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to deliver to set deadlines
