Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Kolkata Area for the role of Associate Lawyer. The Associate Lawyer will manage and review legal documents, research relevant laws and regulations, and provide legal advice to support the company's operations. Responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating contracts, facilitating compliance with real estate regulations, and managing legal disputes or proceedings. The role also requires maintaining clear and professional communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of property law, contract law, and corporate law
• Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills
• Experience in document review, lease agreements, and due diligence within the real estate sector
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
• Experience with compliance and regulatory processes in real estate is highly desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent; license to practice law in India is required
• Prior experience in real estate or corporate legal services is a plus
