The firm is recognized for its client-centric approach, strategic insight, and commitment to excellence. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata . The Associate Lawyer will play a key role in supporting litigation and advisory matters, ensuring effective client servicing and case management. Responsibilities include: Managing and following up on court cases and hearings. Maintaining and updating the court diary, schedules, and case files. Drafting legal documents, pleadings, petitions, and agreements. Conducting legal research, preparing case notes, and identifying case points. Coordinating with clients, counsel, and senior associates for case strategy and documentation. Appearing before courts and legal forums as required. Ensuring timely communication and updates across all stakeholders. Supporting multi-jurisdictional matters and collaborating with international teams when necessary. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Law ( LL.B. ) or equivalent; enrollment with the Bar Council of India . 2–5 years of experience in litigation, drafting, and client coordination (preferred). Strong command over Civil, Criminal, Corporate, and Commercial legal domains. Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills. Effective communication and advocacy abilities. Proficiency in managing court schedules, case files, and documentation. Ability to work independently while collaborating with senior lawyers and teams. Familiarity with digital case management tools or legal tech platforms is an advantage.
