Job Description

Role Overview:

development of new and existing suppliers and products

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier & Product Development:

Develop and qualify new suppliers and continuously improve existing ones.
Manage product development activities across machining, fabrication, and ready bought-out categories.

Performance & Quality Management:

Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to company quality standards.
Resolve quality and delivery-related issues promptly.
Ensure suppliers comply with company requirements and specifications.

Cost Control:

Drive cost-reduction initiatives and value engineering projects.
Analyze purchase history and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Technical Expertise:

Demonstrate sound understanding of manufacturing processes and technical specifications.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure supplier capability and product feasibility.

Software Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with
ERP systems
.
Strong working knowledge of
MS Excel
and other standard office software.

Negotiation & Communication Skills:

Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable terms and maintain supplier relationships.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

Organizational Skills:

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
