Role Description

Service Line: Indirect Taxes (GST and Customs)

Location(s): Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad

Designation: Qualified Associate

Qualifications

We are looking for freshly qualified Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants or Lawyers who have previous experience in the field of indirect taxes, either during articleship or as a paid employee in any of the prestigious firms with a full-time indirect tax practice.

Skills and behaviors

• Well versed with Goods & Services Tax Laws, Customs law and procedures, foreign trade policy schemes (DGFT Schemes) and Free Trade Agreements (FTA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic work environment
• Able and willing to travel to client locations (which may include outside home location)
• Well versed with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experienced in drafting replies to show cause notices, managing large databases and reconciliation
