2 - 4 Years 5 Openings Chennai Role description Trade Operations - FX/MM Key Responsibilities Exp-2 to 4yrs Location-Chennai Ensure all assigned transactions and tasks are completed on time. Follow up or escalate issues when necessary. Organize your work effectively and know when to raise issues to senior team members. Help resolve any issues related to stock or cash mismatches. Escalate unresolved problems based on set rules (e.g., age, value, client importance). Take full responsibility for any extra tasks or projects and complete them within the agreed timeframe. Handle client and stakeholder questions professionally, focusing on clear and timely communication. Follow internal procedures carefully and report any risks or concerns honestly. Share and support ideas that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality. Work well with your team to create a positive and helpful work environment. Build strong working relationships with other teams, portfolio managers, dealers, and external partners to support daily operations. Skills and Behaviours Required Always eager to learn more about transaction processes. Actively involved in improving daily workflows. Able to plan and prioritize work effectively, even when priorities change. Make sound decisions in routine situations and ask for help when needed. Manage time efficiently and consistently meet deadlines. Be a subject expert and mentor junior team members. Report any issues clearly and promptly on the same day they are identified. Essential Knowledge & Experience Experience using the Aladdin platform. Strong attention to detail. Skilled in Microsoft Excel. Additional Useful Experience Knowledge of derivatives and collateral management. Experience in trade operations across asset types such as equities, fixed income, FX, money markets, etc. Background in cash operations, especially payments. Familiarity with SWIFT messaging standards. Understanding of corporate actions, including mandatory/voluntary events and income processing. Awareness of operational risks in the transaction and asset lifecycle.
