Associate General Manager - Coal logistics & Ancillary Services

As a candidate for this position, your role will involve developing and implementing strategies to optimize domestic coal logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain activities related to coal transportation, storage, and distribution. Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all logistics operations will be a key part of your job. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency. Leading a team of professionals to achieve operational targets and deliver high-quality services will also be essential. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement, as well as identifying and mitigating risks in the supply chain to ensure uninterrupted coal supply, are crucial aspects of the role. You will also be tasked with preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and reports related to logistics and ancillary services. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate innovative solutions and contributing to the overall strategic objectives of the organization will be expected. Participation in decision-making processes is also part of the role. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field - Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred - Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification required - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus Technical Skills: - In-depth knowledge of domestic coal logistics operations - Proficiency in supply chain management principles and best practices - Experience with logistics software and systems for tracking and monitoring - Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in the Energy industry - Financial acumen for budgeting and cost management,
