This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 1 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are seeking a dynamic and driven Associate to join our Financial Institution Group (FIG) team within the Wholesale Banking division. This is a client-facing role focused on managing and growing relationships with a wide array of financial institutions, including NBFCs, insurance companies, mutual funds, fintechs, cooperatives, and other regulated/non-regulated entities. You will be responsible for relationship management, business development, and revenue generation through tailored banking solutions. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Develop and manage strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at financial institutions. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt resolution of queries and seamless delivery of services. Business Development & B2B Sales: Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell a suite of wholesale banking products including loans, trade finance, treasury products, and cash management solutions. Work closely with product and credit teams to structure and execute client-specific solutions. Credit & Risk Understanding: Liaise with internal credit and risk teams to assess client creditworthiness, prepare credit proposals, and monitor exposure and performance of client accounts. Market Intelligence: Keep track of industry developments, competitor offerings, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic trends to identify potential risks and opportunities within the FIG landscape. Revenue Ownership: Own and deliver revenue and profitability targets from assigned FIG accounts. Track and analyze client wallet share and plan growth strategies accordingly. Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders including risk, compliance, legal, operations, and product teams to deliver seamless end-to-end client service. Key Skills & Experience Required: 1-5 years of experience in B2B sales, relationship management, or wholesale banking, preferably within the FIG domain. Strong understanding of the financial services ecosystem, including NBFCs, insurance companies, fintechs, etc. Proven ability to engage CXO-level stakeholders and drive business discussions. Good knowledge of banking products relevant to financial institutions (e.g., working capital, term loans, trade finance, treasury). Experience in credit proposal preparation and basic financial analysis is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and client-centric environment. Preferred Qualifications: MBA/PGDM in Finance, Marketing, or related fields from a reputed institution.
