Associate Financial Analyst

Role Overview: At Ecolab, as a Financial Analyst in the Distributor Finance team based in Pune, India, you will be responsible for providing month-end reporting, progress reporting, administering key monthly controls, KPI reporting, evaluating potential improvements, supporting ad-hoc requests, and ensuring all reporting processes are documented. You will also be involved in monthly/quarterly risk reviews and miscellaneous project support. Key Responsibilities: - Provide month end reporting summarizing Distributor Finance activity - Identify significant variances and drivers in progress reporting - Administer key monthly controls including inventory trending analysis - Ensure complete and accurate resale processing in SAP through KPI reporting - Evaluate potential improvements and scope expansion based on business needs - Provide support, ad hoc reporting, and analysis to internal and external customers - Support various ad-hoc requests from Divisional partners - Conduct monthly/quarterly risk reviews with Divisional partners - Provide miscellaneous project support Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics - 2-3 years of professional experience - Proven analytical and decision-making skills - Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels - Effective oral and written communication skills and strong presentation skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software, workflow software, ad hoc reporting tools, and databases - Demonstrated project management and leadership skills - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and process-oriented - Fluent in English (speaking and writing) - Ability to utilize problem resolution skills in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work independently and as a member of a team - Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information - Ability to deal with ambiguity/subjectivity - Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: Ecolab believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve the best outcomes.
