Associate Engineer - O&M

Purpose/Objective

Supervisory Staff - WTG position is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of wind turbine generators by supporting maintenance activities, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting with daily operations. This role emphasizes achieving performance targets, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety standards. The Supervisory Staff will work under the guidance of the WTG Site Head to maintain turbine availability and optimize site performance, focusing on process compliance, timely reporting, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Oversee Maintenance Tasks: Oversee maintenance tasks by coordinating daily activities within the plant to ensure they are completed efficiently and according to established schedules. Monitor the performance and productivity of maintenance teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while fostering a collaborative work environment. Assist in Equipment Troubleshooting: Assist in equipment troubleshooting by providing essential support to maintenance teams in diagnosing and resolving issues that arise during operations. Leverage expertise to ensure effective solutions are implemented swiftly, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational continuity. Enforce Safety Standards: Enforce safety standards by ensuring that all maintenance work adheres to company protocols and regulatory requirements, which is crucial for preventing workplace accidents. Conduct regular safety checks and training sessions to reinforce the importance of safety measures among team members. Monitor Inventory for Maintenance: Monitor inventory for maintenance tasks by tracking tools and spare parts necessary for operational effectiveness, ensuring that all required supplies are available to prevent delays. Manage inventory efficiently to streamline maintenance operations and optimize resource allocation. Documentation and Reporting: Document maintenance activities accurately to maintain records of all tasks and equipment repairs performed, which is essential for tracking equipment history and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Utilize these records to identify trends that may indicate underlying issues, allowing for proactive maintenance planning. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate with other departments, including production and engineering, to ensure that maintenance activities align seamlessly with operational workflows. Facilitate effective communication to maintain operational efficiency and ensure that maintenance schedules do not disrupt production needs.
