Associate Engineer

You are urgently seeking an Associate Engineer for Pune Location to join our team at ALTEN, a renowned French multinational technology consulting and engineering company with a global presence in 25 countries. As an Associate Engineer, the ideal candidate should hold a B.E. degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering with a total experience ranging from 3 to 5 years. Your proficiency in soft skills such as Catia V5/V6 or Solidworks will be highly valued for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Specialization in Machine Tool, Machine Design, or Heavy-Duty Fabrication domains. - Ability to conceptualize and assess the feasibility of machine/product development and component designs. - Designing and creating machine layout concepts. - Proficient in 3D modeling, 2D drawings, and creation of BOMs (bill of materials). - Sound knowledge of GD & T, engineering materials, welding structures, design calculations, and mechanical machinery safety. - Familiarity with automation, manufacturing processes, heat treatment processes, and coatings on parts. - Strong technical communication skills for effective collaboration. - Experience in project hour estimation and time management. - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in core mechanical design engineering.
