As an Accounting & Reporting Consulting Associate Director/Director in Mumbai, you will be responsible for: - Participating in business development activities and contributing to proposal development. - Managing client relationships and serving as a point of contact for clients. - Providing technical accounting advice to clients on complex accounting issues, conducting research on accounting topics, and preparing technical memos. - Assisting clients with the implementation of new accounting standards and financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements. - Reviewing and analyzing client financial information, offering recommendations for improvement. - Supervising and mentoring team members. - Staying up to date on developments in accounting standards and regulations. - Managing multiple engagements and deadlines with attention to detail and the ability to work independently. - Applying independent and objective professional judgment in applying accounting standards to meet engagement expectations, including regulatory requirements. We are looking for accounting professionals who are passionate about providing accounting and reporting consulting services to clients, including support on technical and special matters such as GAAP Conversion, accounting policy support, new accounting standard implementation (end to end), and Disclosure support for IFRS/USGAAP/Ind AS. The role involves working with top global clients across various markets and industry sectors, requiring strong domain, project management, business development, and people skills. You should demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting concepts, stay informed of professional standards, and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations. Qualifications required for this role include: - Qualified CPA or CA - 7 to 10+ Years of relevant experience - CPAs/ACCAs with experience in technical accounting/financial reporting If you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure with stringent deadlines and tough client conditions that may demand extended working hours, we encourage you to apply.
