The Role

Experienced data center professional with 5-10 years or more working in a data center environment.

• Support the implementation and delivery of Global Programmes as assign (e.g. Eptura, Capital planning, and other DC plans etc.)
• Provide technical guidance & support for in and out of their Region.
• RCA (root cause analysis) review and understanding equipment failure.
• Advise and guide regarding Processes and Procedures
• Assist and guide Site Operations Team regarding Technical Training Programmes and Training Processes and Procedures.
• Review and Approve Medium and High-Risk work.
• Support / Produce statement of requirements / scope of works for technical solutions and other engineering documentation.
• Share Best Practice knowledge and experience.
• Guide and advise on self-perform maintenance activities at the locations. Also review maintenance with providers as needed.
• Advise of new maintenance and operations techniques to reduce invasive operations.
• Provide emergency support and response when incidents arise
• Technically advise and guide on the Asset Management Plans
• Technically Support development of Energy Management Programme
• Support development of CE Team.
• Produce technical reports for internal CE team and external client as requested
• Develop key relationships at a Senior Level within the client’s organizations
• Support infrastructure and operational due diligence with internal / external organisations.

Who You Are

• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering / or experience in Data centers preferred
• Data center certifications and / or industry certifications are required.
• Proven work experience at regional level.
• Knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems
• Familiarity with BAS, CMMS , and other software
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering concepts
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
