We're looking for an experienced Associate Director-Accounting to join our Controllership & Statutory Reporting team. Reporting to the Director- Accounting, you'll be responsible for:

• Overseeing the preparation, review, and submission of statutory financial statements for APAC and EMEA entities, ensuring compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements
• Reconciling financials between local GAAP/IFRS and US GAAP (including standards such as ASC 842, ASC 830, ASC 810), and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with regional consultants and auditors
• Leading complex trial balance reconciliations across global entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to audit standards while managing multi-language requirements
• Driving strategic initiatives to centralize and streamline statutory reporting and compliance processes for APAC and EMEA
• Utilizing AI tools, automation, and Microsoft (or equivalent) technologies to optimize financial reporting and workflows, while identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities through technology-driven strategies

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Minimum 10-12 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on Statutory reporting (APAC/EMEA), compliance, and technical US GAAP industry experience which includes 5-7 years of people management experience
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification
• Must be proficient in problem-solving, Strong analytical, and project management skills

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• In-depth knowledge of APAC/EMEA statutory frameworks and IFRS including experience in centralization of statutory functions and processes across multiple countries (Certifications/ Advanced degrees)
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, including ASC 842, ASC 830, and consolidation
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools with proven ability to implement AI-driven technologies and process improvements
