About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage transactional documentation for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity investments.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and transaction documents (SPA, SHA, JV Agreements, etc.).
  • Conduct and oversee legal due diligence and risk assessment for M&A deals.
  • Provide corporate advisory on regulatory compliance, structuring, and corporate governance matters.
  • Independently handle client communications, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Liaise with regulators, external counsels, and other stakeholders as needed for deal execution.


Requirements:

  • LL.B. degree from a reputed law school.
  • Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a law firm handling corporate and M&A mandates.
  • Strong proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and deal execution.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, FDI regulations, and other relevant corporate laws.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
