Associate Consultant – Strategy (Power & Renewables)

• You have no prior exposure (academic or professional) to the power sector
• You are not comfortable working extensively in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Must Have Qualifications

• M.Tech / MBA / Equivalent Post Graduation with a focus in Power Systems, Energy, Renewables, or Infrastructure
• 0–3 years of work experience in renewable energy, power sector, or strategy roles
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint (decking), Excel (modelling & analysis), and Word (reporting)
• Exceptional analytical, research, and document preparation skills
• Able to work full-time from Ahmedabad office
• High ownership, low supervision working style

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a consulting, project development, or market research role in the energy sector
• Exposure to competitive bidding, regulatory studies, power markets, or business models in RE/BESS
• Ability to manage project timelines independently and translate complex inputs into client-facing outputs

Key Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and structure insights on energy markets, policies, and investment opportunities
• Prepare internal & client-facing reports, decks, and proposals with minimal rework
• Work closely with Strategy Leads, Engineering, and BD teams to support project structuring, feasibility studies, and go-to-market initiatives
• Translate business needs into structured deliverables (briefs, trackers, decision memos)
• Support client calls, data rooms, presentations, and execution of strategic initiatives
