Indago Capital focuses on bespoke opportunities within the asset-based finance markets primarily in North America and Developed Europe. The mission of the company is to deliver differentiated and strong risk-adjusted returns for clients and provide creative financing solutions to counterparties. Indago Capital invests in both private and public markets across various sectors such as mortgage finance (residential and commercial), consumer finance, business finance, and other specialty finance sectors. The investment approach involves a combination of asset purchases, loan purchases, providing financing solutions, and/or platform investments. The company is headquartered in New York. As an Associate in the India-based investment team of Indago Capital, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to investment analysis and execution of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Asset-Based Finance (ABF) deals. **Responsibilities:** - Build and evaluate comprehensive financial models to support investment analysis, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making across various commercial real estate (CRE) asset classes. - Standardize and benchmark sales and operational performance across diverse commercial real estate (CRE) asset classes by analyzing data from Trepp and Real Capital Analytics (RCA). - Conduct real estate asset valuations using various methodologies to support investment decisions and portfolio strategy. - Draft investment memos and prepare due diligence checklists. - Conduct market, borrower, and macroeconomic research. - Monitor and report on portfolio performance and asset management. - Develop scalable data analytics and automation tools. - Collaborate on live deal execution and pipeline management. **Basic Qualifications:** - Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field, CFA, or similar. - 1-4 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate (CRE). - Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analysis skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication; self-starter across time zones. - Strong organizational and leadership skills. - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Bloomberg, Intex a plus. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Prior buyside or sellside experience focused on Commercial Real Estate (CRE). - Familiarity with commercial real estate programs and data sources such as Trepp, RCA, Costar, Argus, GreenStreet. - Familiarity with interest rate products a plus. - Proficiency in data analysis using SQL, Python, and/or R a plus. - Ideal candidates should be able to create institutional quality presentation materials for the Investment Committee or Investor Marketing books.
