Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant/Manager-Contract based in Ahmedabad. The role involves daily contract management tasks, including contract review, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Assistant/Manager-Contract will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and providing support in the resolution of contract disputes.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Contracts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contract administration, vendor negotiations, and project documentation across multiple infrastructure projects. This role demands precision, leadership, and a deep understanding of contract law and project execution.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech

    in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
  • Postgraduate Degree in Project Management from NICMAR (mandatory)

Note: Only candidates with NICMAR credentials will be considered.


Requirements:


  • 10 to 12 years of hands-on experience in contract management within the infrastructure or construction sector
  • Experience in pre- and post-contract activities, including tendering, bid evaluation, claims management, and dispute resolution
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Coordinate with project teams to align contract terms with execution plans
  • Manage contract lifecycle, including amendments, extensions, and closures
  • Handle claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audit and internal review
  • Liaise with legal advisors and senior management for strategic decisions
