Assistant Warehouse Manager

You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations in this role as a Warehouse Manager. Your main duties will include managing inventory levels, handling goods in and out, processing orders efficiently, and maintaining accurate warehouse records. It is crucial for you to ensure accurate stock levels, efficient flow of goods, and proper storage systems. Your key responsibilities will involve managing inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts, overseeing goods in and out processes including loading, unloading, and documentation, processing orders in a timely manner, and maintaining the warehouse system and storage areas. Additionally, you will be required to prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and related documentation, conduct stock audits, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably with a minimum of 3 years of experience. A strong understanding of stock handling, GRN, and inventory control systems is essential. You should also be proficient in operating warehouse management software or Excel for inventory tracking, possess excellent organizational and time-management skills, and be capable of leading a small team while maintaining warehouse discipline. Physical fitness to manage warehouse duties when required is also a requirement for this position. Your working hours will be from 10 am to 7 pm, and you will report to the Operations Manager or Supply Chain Head.
