Job Description

As the Assistant Vice President - Human Resources at our corporate office in Hyderabad, you will play a critical role in designing, guiding, and implementing effective HR policies, programs, and procedures to support our business strategy and organizational development. Your key responsibilities will include conducting organizational diagnostics through regular surveys and feedback sessions to enhance the organizational environment. You will also be responsible for ensuring that organization structures are well-defined and periodically reviewing job analysis, descriptions, and role clarifications to meet business needs. In addition, you will oversee the onboarding and induction process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the company culture. Managing the performance management system, aligning goals, guiding assessment processes, and developing individual development plans will also be a key focus area for you. Your role will involve working on talent management strategies to build a pipeline for key positions, implementing workforce planning, competency profiling, and development programs. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing training strategies aligned with business objectives, as well as developing employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace productivity and positive employee experience. Furthermore, you will design rewards and recognition systems, conduct compensation benchmarking exercises, and lead the development and implementation of leadership training programs. Conducting SWOT analysis for leadership positions and managing additional duties as assigned will also be part of your responsibilities. You will lead the HR team and collaborate with function heads at headquarters and unit heads at assigned plants. Reporting functionally to the Joint Managing Director and Group Head of HR, you will oversee the HR team to ensure effective collaboration and performance. To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in senior HR leadership roles with 12-15 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing or similar industries. Strong expertise in talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational design, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, will be essential. Your ability to drive HR initiatives and align them with business objectives will be crucial for success in this position.,
