As an Assistant Vice President at Barclays, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank's global operations. Your role will be based out of Noida. **Role Overview:** In this role, you will be responsible for: - Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Monitoring data quality and records metrics and ensuring compliance with standards across the organization. - Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps. - Leading the development and implementation of a records management program that ensures proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval, and disposal of records. - Developing and implementing a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's overall data management strategy and business objectives. - Providing Group-wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Experience of running Governance forums with senior management in attendance. - Deep expertise in end-to-end data lineage for financial and regulatory reporting. - Outcome-driven approach for resolution of data quality issues. - Awareness of BCBS239. - Proven experience engaging senior stakeholders, regulators, and risk/compliance teams. - Exposure to automation tools like Tableau, Alteryx will be an added advantage. **Qualifications Required:** - Development and implementation of effective governance frameworks. - Monitoring data quality metrics and compliance standards. - Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps. - Leading the development and implementation of records management programs. - Providing guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements.
